This tab, accessed by selecting Data Sources/Proxy from the Options Menu or the MENU button on the main screen, is used to setup and select the site(s) to be used for Backfilling of data for the intraday charts:

 

 

Select the site from the Site drop down list and enter the Login Information (if required).  The backfill site does not have to be the same as the site selected for quotes.  If you want to use the same site for backfill as for quotes (assuming the quote site supports backfill and is listed), select --- DEFAULT SITE BACKFILL --- from the Site drop down list and the program will automatically use backfill data from the selected site for quotes.

 

The frequency (interval) of the data backfilled and the number of backfill days available (for Multi-day Charts) depends on what the selected backfill site provides.

 

In addition to being able to backfill a symbols manually from the menu, you can also select other automatic backfill options (if the site supports it):

Auto Backfill when Adding a Stock:  Backfills a new symbol that is added to the portfolio.

Auto Backfill when Opening a Chart:  Backfills a chart when it is opened.
