Most Actives

This screen shows most active symbols for the selected Venue (market, exchange, etc.) in real time.  It is accessed from the Tools menu on the portfolio or Watchlist screen from your broker or data provider, if supported.  The following screen shows the Most Actives as provided by TD AMERITRADE:

 

 

Select the Venue (market, exchange, etc.) and the Duration (last hour or minutes or ALL)

you want to see the most actives for.

 

The screen is divided into two groups -  # Trades and # Shares, showing the rank (#), volume and % rank of the symbol from top (most active - 1) to bottom (least active - 10) for each group.

 

•If a symbol in the list has a higher ranking than it did previously, it will be highlighted in green followed by a green up arrow.
•If a symbol in the list has a lower ranking than it did previously, it will be highlighted in red followed by a red down arrow.
•If a symbol is new, i.e. it just became one of the most actives, it will be highlighted in yellow followed by an "N".
•***'s in the symbol column indicate that there there are several symbols with the same rank at the time.

 

Similar to a portfolio or Watchlist, if news is available for the symbol, it will show a light bulb next to the symbol. You can also right click on a symbol for menu options as well as drag and drop symbols to another window.

 

Use the Font buttons to increase (Up) or decrease (Down) the font size of the data display on this screen.

 

You can click on the Stop button to pause the streaming screen and then on the Start button to restart it,

 

Clicking on the pushpin will link the selected symbol to other linked windows.
