Trade-Ideas Alerts is a third-party subscription based application that provides fast and powerful real-time scanning, filtering and alerts using modern statistical analysis with extensive configuration and user selections and is fully integrated into QuoteTracker. This means you do not have to launch their website or application. All the screens and functions are available directly here and they interact with the other QuoteTracker screens.

 

In order to use this integrated function in QuoteTracker, you must sign up for a subscription (Create an account) and get a login.

 

To open Trade-Ideas in QuoteTracker, select Open Trade-Ideas Alerts from the Alerts or Tools menu on the portfolio screen.

If you already have Trade-Ideas windows running, you can select them from this list:

 

 

This is also where you can Add a New alert window or Delete an existing one.  The screens that follow are similar to the ones in the native application showing you the scanning results and allowing you to Configure Alerts with your specific selections.  Notice the familiar right click menu options specific to QuoteTracker on the Alerts window followed by options specific to Trade-Ideas:

 

 

 

Interaction with other QuoteTracker windows such as linked windows is fully supported. They will be added and start tracking as if you entered them directly into QuoteTracker.

 

The Trade-Ideas windows you create and maintain within QuoteTracker are remembered (including window positions).  If you created Trade-Ideas alert windows outside of QuoteTracker, you can bring them into QuoteTracker by launching the external alert window, selecting the Collaborate menu option and copying the URL on that screen. Then in Quotetracker, Add a New window using the Trade-Ideas Selector dialog window, select the Collaborate menu option and paste in the URL. That will copy the settings over.
